コンセプト concept | ||||||
駿河湾最奥部の海岸沿いにあるこの建物の外観は，リズミカルな壁面とガラスを組み合わせ，外装には青みを帯びたグレイの磁器質タイルを採用した．アプローチは利用者とブックモビルのアクセスを明解に分離し，エントランス近くには曲面ガラスの児童コーナーや新聞・書物コーナーを設け，「開かれた図書館」を印象付けた．さらに「光の吹抜」や木製ヴォールト天井など，各々のコーナーによって異なる表情を持たせ，変化のある空間としている． The exterior appearance of this building, located by the seashore of the deepest part of Suruga Bay, is made of rhythmical walls and glass, and we used bluish gray ceramic tiles for exterior. The approach to the building is clearly separated for users and bookmobiles. Near the entrance we designed a children's corner with a curved wall and newspaper and book corner, giving the impression of an "open library". The "light void" and wooden vault ceiling give different impressions depending on each corner, making it a flexible space. | ||||||
